wow, I never see these seats on sale since they are pretty high-end, but amazon has them $76 off! There seem to only be a limited amount left though! They are $304 with no tax or shipping (full price is $380).
orbit non-toxic car seat
I just ordered one for us in red since Jack is 21 pounds and quickly starting to outgrow his infant Orbit seat. I am hoping that the fact that the toddler one is more upright might make him enjoy the car more and be able to see out the sides better too.
I knew I wanted the Orbit seat because it’s the only one with NO toxic flame retardants, and OEKO-TEX certified. Britax is decreasing their flame retardant use, but I feel much more comfortable with no chemicals than some vague decreased amount. I wish the Orbit had an option made of organic cotton or something (instead of its polyester material), but for now it’s hands down the best infant or toddler car seat you can get in terms of toxic chemical exposure.
I’m so excited about this sale! I’ve been stalking the car seat and watching prices for months and the cheapest I’d seen before was $360 (full price is $380) except for a few years ago they were on sale on gilt.com for $250 including shipping.
